Cora’s Faves: December Edition

Hi Guys and Dolls!

Another month has gone by already! December seemed to go by in a flash! How was your holiday? I tried all sorts of new things in December, but here’s my list of stuff that I used or loved the most!

Sephora Brand Eyeshadows: GET THEM! I really wish they sold palettes for these! I know I’m going to end up buying a lot of these, and having a lot of little pots is probably going to be annoying. Some colors that I don’t own but that I highly recommend are : City Fog( amazing Matte grey), Porcelain (a nice Blanc Type Dupe), Suede (great blending out shade for the crease) Western Leather (OMG! amazing brown with a smooth shimmer, very similar to a MAC Veluxe Pearl!)Β  and those are just the ones I FOR SURE are amazing and that I can remember the names of! Here’s the link to the Sephora Brand e/s that ROCK

Glitter Liners: I feel like I’ve talked this into the ground, so I’m just going to say that I’ve fallen in love with wearing glitter. Unfortunately glitter does not really photograph that well, so I don’t know how often I’ll use it in tutorials. Don’t forget, you can make your own:

Korres Body Butter: It’s a bit pricey I know, but sometimes it’s just worth it. This has seriously helped my dry and normally cracked winter feet! Also normally by now, my hands are red and raw from being dry, but not this year!

Minty Lipgloss: I just like the smell. I’ve had some from Urban Decay for a while, but I picked up the Elf ones only a few weeks ago. I’m going to compare the ELF glosses to the Stila glosses soon-ish :) (they both come in a clicky pen and I was always curious how they compare)

Hard Candy Nail Polish:Β  I said in the video that Mr. Wrong took forever to dry, but I also have to say that I’m really impatient with nail-polish drying times! I probably WILL wear it again, but I won’t be happy about the application. Does anyone know if you can use drying drops in between coats of polish affects the look of the polish???

I’m no where nears as good at explaining nail polishΒ  as these two gals, So here’s links to my fave Nail Polish Blogs:

Every drying product I have used has dulled out my polish : ( but i use my hairdryer when I’m in a hurry it works pretty good especially if you blast the nail with heat in between coats… Hope that helps <3 your vids and all you do

Fingers crossed that neptune wins out– I have been dying for a look to match my neptune-colored hair, and it won’t be neptune colored much longer!

Loved your blog. Readers might also be interested in another article I found, about beauty and dry eyes. It can be found at this website:

Can you repeat the two sites where you got the glitters from? (In the how to create your own glitter liner video?)

I'd Love To Hear Your Thoughts!
