Purple Haze

Hi Guys & Dolls. .

Today’s tutorial is interesting because it didn’t start out as a tutorial. I was playing around with my new tarte goodies and decided to film the process. I love the grays in the “Just Deserts” palette because they have a brown undertone which is more universally flattering compared to blue-toned grays. I love how the cream shadows make the pearly Inglot shadow look super glossy and the winged eyeliner and matte red lips make it almost pin-up inspired. I originally tried this with a natural/nude lip but I love the red of tarte’s “fiery” natural matte lip tint. Enjoy it kiddos!

What I used to create this look

Eyes:
Urban Decay Primer Potion

tarte plum smoke Amazonian clay waterproof cream eyeshadow

tarte just deserts beauty & the box Amazonian clay eyeshadow quad every color except the gold

INGLOT 439 Pearl Freedom system shadow

Milani Black Color Play felt-tip pen

MAC black Extended Play Lash (mascara)

Skin:

tarte clean slate poreless primer

tarte “fair” maracuja miracle foundation 12-hour broad spectrum SPF 15 sunscreen

tarte “fair” smooth operator Amazonian clay waterproof concealer

tarte smooth operator™ Amazonian clay finishing powder

tarte “exposed” Amazonian clay 12-hour blush

Lips:

(Nude Version) tarte “exposed” LipSurgence™ matte lip tint

(Red Version) tarte “fiery” & “envy” LipSurgence™ matte lip tint

What version do you prefer, the red or nude lips?

I must say I’ve missed your pink and purple hair. 🙂 This look is so beautiful! I truly love that glowing purple eyeshadow, but unfortunately we don’t have Inglot here in Sweden, so I will have to look for an alternative.

    Have a nice day!

Amazing look, you can really pull it off with the red lips but I don’t think everyone can do that. BTW: your hair looks very beautiful.
