FAUX LUXURY LASHES FOR FANCY PEOPLE

Hi Guys & Dolls,

How does one really “review” eyelashes? “I LOVE THESE OMG STUDSSS!!!” doesn’t seem to cut it, but what else is there to say that you can’t see?

Faux Lash is a San Francisco based brand that sells fantastic false lashes. Some of them are wild like the Faux+Dev lashes that have studs (omfg I love those!) and some are tame like the Chloe lash. Some of the more “special” lashes have a thicker band that can me tricky for beginners because it’s stiffer, but I sort of like it because it keeps it’s shape and are sturdier so it’s easier to reuse. I think some of the lashes are easy to dupe with inexpensive lash brands (Ardell, Red Cherry) however the special ones are are fabulous and worth the money! Below I have photos of the lashes Faux sent me and my thoughts on each pair.

Alexia $16

The crisscross layering gives a very luxe, full look. These made my eyes larger and rounder than normal.

Audrey $16

These are an interesting juxtaposition- the band is thicker, but the lashes are delicate and very natural looking, Love it!

Chloe $10

These are great beauty lashes but nothing that you couldn’t dupe with Red Cherry or Ardell. I do love the thinner band, and I wore these in my “Brave” tutorial.

Collette $10

I dig these; They are similar to MAC 7’s but are $5 less- score! I find when I wear lashes like these I get the “are those real?” comments. The invisible band makes them very easy to apply and “hide”.

Dark Slants $12

Fabulous full lashes slanted outward to give your eyes a new sexy shape. I used these in my Midnight Rainbow tutorial and they flowed perfectly with shape of the makeup.

Faux+Dev $24

L-O-V-E.  These have the same crisscross placement that the Alexa lashes have, but they are much thicker, and you know, the studs. THE STUDS! These are both BAMFery and strikingly beautiful, a winning combination. I used these in my Snow White tutorial and they made the look.

The Bottom Line- Faux make fantastic, luxury lashes for Fancy People, or at least people who are fancy-adjacent.

*dies* I sat here for a good 30 seconds trying to figure out what “bamferry” was, until I took it apart acronym-style in my head. Then I laughed hard!

Those lashes are insanely gorgeous. I don’t know who thought to combine lashes with studs, but it works in utterly unexpected ways!
