Hi Guys & Dolls!
I know that it might not seem like it, but the color palette of today’s tutorial is inspired by Downton Abbey. If you’ve ever seen the show you know that the characters wear no obvious makeup since in those days makeup was considered inappropriate, a tool for Actors and Harlots. However the show is vivid with color; The clothing the women wear and the color of the home itself influenced me greatly when creating this makeup look. If you haven’t checked out the show get on it- season 1 is on Netflix, and both season 1 & 2 are on Hulu Plus. As a bonus, the mother of the 3 daughters is named “Cora”. I never hear my name on TV/movies so it’s a thrill for me!
Anyway back the makeup: The colors of this makeup look are perfect for fall- deep eggplant, brown sugar, olive, and raspberry..wait that’s starting to sound like lunch! The Video is packed with helpful tips, terrible accents, and my usual gooberness. This look would be flattering on so many different people, I’d love to see you recreate it!
