video thumb2Hey Guys & Dolls!

Longtime no blog!  As you may have noticed, I didn’t do any tutorials during December, and pretty much only posted my giveaways here. For most of the last 5 weeks I’ve been really sick- I had a horrible cold followed by 2-3 weeks of bronchitis (I’m on an inhaler and feeling MUCH better!). I thought the perfect way to slip back into the blogging groove would be a Disney Princess themed look!

My inspiration for this look came from the colors of the wind… but more specifically her clothes and jewelry. I think a modern version of Pocahontas would be a total Bohemian Berkley Babe: protesting things, growing her own organic food, shopping local, back backing though Europe, neat stuff like that.

This was also my first time using Makeup Geek makeup. I’ve followed Marlena for as long as she’s been on YouTube so when they contacted me for review consideration I was honored! I knew her line MUST be good, but now that I’ve tried it I’m so impressed and proud! More Makeup Geeks looks to come ^_^

About the teal hair- It’s a wig and I dig it. I tried wearing a black wig for this and it just didn’t have the same effect.
