video thumb2Hey Guys & Dolls!

Longtime no blog!  As you may have noticed, I didn’t do any tutorials during December, and pretty much only posted my giveaways here. For most of the last 5 weeks I’ve been really sick- I had a horrible cold followed by 2-3 weeks of bronchitis (I’m on an inhaler and feeling MUCH better!). I thought the perfect way to slip back into the blogging groove would be a Disney Princess themed look!

My inspiration for this look came from the colors of the wind… but more specifically her clothes and jewelry. I think a modern version of Pocahontas would be a total Bohemian Berkley Babe: protesting things, growing her own organic food, shopping local, back backing though Europe, neat stuff like that.

This was also my first time using Makeup Geek makeup. I’ve followed Marlena for as long as she’s been on YouTube so when they contacted me for review consideration I was honored! I knew her line MUST be good, but now that I’ve tried it I’m so impressed and proud! More Makeup Geeks looks to come ^_^

About the teal hair- It’s a wig and I dig it. I tried wearing a black wig for this and it just didn’t have the same effect.

what product and color do you use on your eyebrows? I have a hard time matching something for my eyebrow that looks natural and not to dark.

I absolutely LOVE browns and bronzes together. I have blue eyes, and the colors just make them pop. (Eyeshadow 101, I suppose..) Anywho, I was curious about if you had any dupes you would suggest, instead of the Makeup Geek shades.

    Thank you! <3

My name is Sonia and this is my first time watching you videos on youtube, and my very first time visiting your blog. (actually not kidding when I say you are the first makeup blog I have ever had the interest to look at so apparently your really good at what you do!) Haha! I am amazed and some what dumbstruck by the skills you have, and I just wanted to tell you that I am definatly a fan! I do have one little question for you: Now, I have hazel eyes and skin tone is on the tan side and I know that obviously brown and green work with hazel but is there anything eles I can do to make my eyes really pop? What other colors would work with my eyes? I love you tutorials and I really hope to see more of you soon!

P.S. I noticed that you said you were not feeling well and I wanted to say that I hope you feel better soon girl! 🙂

So glad you’re feeling better! I noticed a lack of color on my Bloglovin’ feed 🙂
Beautiful look, as always. Btw, Bitten, Glamorous, and Bada Bing (among few others + almost all gel liners) have been on my wishlist for some time now. Great e/s, right? Big hello to the Mr. That last video you two did cracked me up 😀

Cora, as the #1 goddess of makeup tutorials, you totally rule. Thanks for doing a look w/ MUG products. They are superb, w/ good payoff + intensity. The regular price point is great, but the sale prices are out of this world. Got 12 colors + a Z palette for what I consider a steal. Every time I need a fix, I watch you + Marlena. Thanks for lightening and brightening our lives!
