Anatomy of a Pin-Up: Winged Eyeliner

Hey Guys & Dolls!
A few weeks ago, SimplyBe asked me to create a series of Beauty Looks breaking down a classic party look. I thought this would be the perfect time to break down one of the most sought-after looks, A Classic Meets Modern Pin Up! For the next few weeks I’ll be breaking down the anatomy of a Pin-Up look: the Winged Liner, Perfected Skin, False Lashes and The Perfect Red Lip! Today we’re exploring Thick Winged Liner!

For those of you unfamiliar with SimplyBe, it’s a British clothing store that carries US sizes 10-28! They have some of the CUTEST on-trend clothing, not to mention great basics for plus-size women. At the end of the month I’ll be sharing a party themed Lookbook featuring different looks that all work with my modern take on Pin-Up style makeup!

Hi Cora! I’m in my prime now, as I’ve finally gotten the kids out of the house, and I’m young enough to have fun exploring myself πŸ™‚ As a younger woman, I concentrated on work and my family, which left little time for me. Well, I still have to work, but the kids are taking care of themselves. I drive a fork lift at work, outside, at night, if you can imagine. I’ve been there for almost 7 yrs, and my boss is pretty comfortable with me and my skills. That being said, I have a lot of freedom with self expression that others may not be able to enjoy in the workplace. I love your tutorials, and try different looks regularly, much to the enjoyment of my husband and coworkers. Sometimes I don’t get it quite right, but I keep trying. Anyway, I wanted to say that I am learning as I go, and I always take something from your videos. You’re helping me to be a better me, and I want to thank you for that. You’re a truly wonderful person! Kudos πŸ™‚
