Sometimes you have to step away for a while to remember why you love something. After a little hiatus, I’m back to creating makeup tutorials! This is the first time I’ve put makeup on my face after weeks of being sick, and I really loved getting back in the saddle so to speak. I love any type of rainbow eye, and I’m really interested in subverting ideas about texture and layering and blending the colors to get a custom look. This look is subtle, which is part of why I think it’s so alluring. Pay attention to how I layer colors over one another to make things warmer, cooler, or to change the texture. I love the Clover palette, the Dog theme speaks to my Dog-Mom heart, but moreover, I find myself still reaching for it months after it launched! What is your favorite palette from last year? I have a handful I still reach for! Check out my answer in the comments on YT.

This photo turned out a little blurry but I feel you can see the colors perfectly in it!

Love how the satin-textured centers look with the shimmery eyes!
