Bettie Page Inspired Makeup & Hair!

When I’m recovering from a migraine, I try to be kind to myself. There is often a day or two after when you’re feeling a little weak, and for me the worst is what I affectionately call “dumb-brain”. This is not the time to make major life decisions or operate heavy machinery. It is a great time to practice self care, in whatever way that presents itself. Today I decided to play around with some new makeup from Besame, and a killer Bettie Page style wig from Annabelle Wigs. The results were pure magic! The brilliant thing about makeup, is that it’s a tool, a hobby and entertainment all in one. It’s something I can use to get glam, get creative, or just admire the pretty colors of my collection. I’m just nuts about all the fun and pretty things we can do with makeup, and I’m so glad I can share this with you Guys & Dolls!
The Infinity Stone shadows from Besame are fantastic- look for the swatches below. Wildly pigmented, wet-looking metallic textures, that slide over the skin like butter. Because this is chit-chat video, you’re getting to see a lot more of the actual makeup application- notice how I didn’t dip in for more product! I used a combo of  buffing and blending, I got the shiniest, most beautiful copper eye! I complimented this with a few of my favorite shadows from Melt Comsetics, full product list below the photos 🙂
I haven’t done a chit-chat GRWM makeup tutorial in such a long time! It’s geeky to say, but I had a FABULOUS time filming this for you, so please be a peach and let me know what you think of this video format. I found it to be so pleasurable to just tell you guys some stories while I relaxed and did my makeup- do you like this format?
