Neon & Glitter Late Summer Makeup

When I’m having a stressful day, I love to lay out my favorite makeup palettes and products and just play with makeup. Today I’m sharing a fun Neon and Glitter Makeup Tutorial using my favorite products from the drugstore, Ulta, from indie brands like Lunatick and Makeup Geek, even artistry brands like MUFE. Hella makeup favorites, and I’m sharing a lot of makeup tips like why I use a certain brush over another. If you enjoy this video please subscribe to my channel.

RINGMASTER CIRCUS CIRCUS

Hi Guys & Dolls!

I have been planning this look for a LONG time. I’ve been wanting to do this type of video for at least 2 years, and here it is!! I feel cleansed, I feel happy. I feel tired, lol. One thing I love about all my Halloween videos this year is that I’m using elements from my own everyday wardrobe into the costumes- with this it’s my boots, a camisole and my leggings. The Top Hat and Wig I’ve had for a long time and I have to tell you- this wig SUCKS! I mean, it looks great and all, but it’s too shiny, which could be taken care of with a little baby powder, but it’s SO itchy. I tore it off my head the second I was done with this. You’ll also remember this corset from my Victorian Lolita look- the funny thing is this look was conceptualized first, but the  Victorian one came first because I’m uploading them in chronological order based on the era of influence. Illamasqua Sealing Gel Review

illmasqua sealing gel 009Hi Guys & Dolls!

Today I wanted to share a quick review of the Illamasqua Sealing Gel! The Sealing Gel works as a mixing medium for powder or glitter products to seal or otherwise make a product water resistant, smudge/budge proof and overall make it last longer. It works best when you apply it to the brush first, then apply the wet brush to the product. Using any mixing medium with a pressed eyeshadow can prevent a hard “crust” on the eyeshadow, particularly with matte eyeshadows. I will usually pick a corner of the pressed eyeshadow as the “wet” side so I can still use the rest of it dry. The Sealing gel can leave a stiff/dry texture so it’s best to use it sparingly. The best part it is comes off easily with your normal makeup remover or face wash, and comes out of brushes just as easy. This is definitely Holy-Grail material!

Romantic Cut Crease With Glitter!!

Hi Guys & Dolls!

Remember WAY back in January when I came back from IMATS with new Lit Cosmetics Glitters?! Well today I’m finally using one of my favorites, Pretty In Pink (Metallic Size 2). “PIP” as I’m calling it, is a beautiful “ballet slipper” meets “champagne” pink with a lovely metallic glow. This is a ladylike glitter. You do not “Holla” at this glitter; You woo her.

Violet Starship

Hi Guys and Dolls! I sat down this week to film a tutorial for the makeup I was wearing in my MAC Me Over haul and about halfway though it just felt so lack luster- it’s a beautiful makeup, but my heart wasn’t in it. When I rediscovered my LIT glitter stacker I decided to have a little makeup playing party for one! Read More “Violet Starship”
